Long Island Chiefs Baseball
2008 Season
Tournaments
Here is some information about baseball tournaments for all the parents and kids on the 2008 Chiefs that have never participate in a baseball tournament. Win or lose baseball tournament are exciting. The play level is normally “A”. The teams can sometimes play 6 games in 4 days. The teams that do the best are true select teams. They pick a team of 12 kids from an area in the US the size of Suffolk County. 8 of the 12 players on these teams are pitchers that can hit. The remaining 4 players are home run hitters. Of course the Chiefs are not a true select team; however I think they will have a nice run in any of the tournaments listed below.
Here is a list of summer tournaments that the Chiefs have an opportunity to compete. As long as we have enough players we could enter all three Tournaments. The tournaments are all local. Please read the tournament information below (click on the links).
E-mail Bobby Cummings on all the Tournaments that you would like to enter and are available to play. We would like to have the roster information in place by June 14th . Please respond expeditiously. Thanks
